Governance structure - CMSProject Governance

The Curriculum Management System in an institutional initiative designed to support those who create and modify curriculum. It is fully supported by the Vice-President Academic & Provost and the Vice-Provost. Implementation of the system has been delegated to the University Registrar.

The project is governed by a steering committee that consists of members from across the community, with a focus on representation from both academic and administrative units.

Steering

Mandate

  • Set overall project goals and desire outcomes
  • Ensure project is prioritized and resourced
  • Define institutional imperatives, mandatory features/adoption
  • Major implementation strategy decisions
  • Integration decisions
  • Exception principles and decisions
  • Link to other committees/projects at senior level and advance policy/regulation changes required
  • Determine system governance and institutional infrastructure for sustainability.
